T. S. Eliot

T. S. Eliot1888–196520th century Thomas Stearns Eliot was an American-born British poet, essayist, and playwright, widely regarded as one of the most influential literary figures of the 20th century. He is best known for his modernist masterpieces such as 'The Waste Land' (1922) and 'Four Quartets' (1943), and was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1948.
