Isaac Rosenberg

Isaac Rosenberg1890–191820th century Isaac Rosenberg (1890–1918) was an English poet and artist, best known for his war poetry written during World War I, including the acclaimed poem 'Break of Day in the Trenches'. He was killed in action at the age of 27, and his work is recognized for its vivid imagery and modernist style.
