perator Assistance Charges apply to person-to-person,third number billed, Public (Coin) Telephone, collect, re-quests for time and charges, and certain calls from hotels.These charges, which are never discounted, are in additionto the dial-direct (Dial Station) rates. The operator canprovide you with the Operator-Assistance charges. Additional minutes are charged at dial-direct (dial station)rates and change when the call continues into a new timeperiod. If a call requires two types of Operator Assistance (e.g.person-to-person Calling Card), the higher of the twoOperator assisted charges will apply. Discounts apply to initial and additional minute rates, but notto Operator assisted charges. The customer dialed Calling Card charge also applies oncalls placed with an Operator when facilities are not avail-able for dial completion.
